Just like that winter is FINALLY over and we’re ready to get back fishing!!! Maiden voyage for F/V Dirty Water this weekend, and boy was it fun. We were able to break in the motors and go for a ride to the Isle of Shoals. This boat has a very smooth ride and gets going fast. We were able to get it up to 40mph through 3-4 foot waves and you could barely feel a bump. We have not cranked it up to full throttle yet but we got it up to 50, and that felt like we were flying. That means less time traveling and more time fishing.
